Founded in 1962 by producing PVC pipe and plastic products from very beginning, Taiwan Tai-Hao Ent. Co, Ltd. has been focusing on the keyboard keycaps, keyswitches & computer keyboard manufacturing with both factories in Taiwan & Mainland China over 25 years. The company has transferred its expertise from the computer keyboard to the domain of IT Security Products (Fingerprint/Smart Card Reader/MultiFunction Kiosk..) & Mouse(RF/Optical..) & PMP/USB Storage (USB Flash Drive, Pocki-MP3..) & Bluetooth Products (Bluetooth Headset/Mouse/Keyboard/USB Dongle..) assembling lines with tremendous success.

History
Tai-Hao was founded enterprise in Panchiao city, Taiwan at an initial capital investment of just USD20,000 in 1962 and established its 1st factory in Tucheng city, Taiwan in 1965 & its Taipei headquarter for marketing & selling overseas in 1980. The pristine products manufactured were PVC Pipe & Keyboard Keycap & Keyboard Keyswitch. With strong market demand for desktop computer, Tai-Hao has stepped over to manufacture Keyboard with its own outstanding injection ability & the advantage of being a upline factory manufacturer of keyboard keycaps & keyswitches in 1987.

In regard of rapidly increasing sales and a policy requiring to move its factory overseas, Tai-Hao has established its 2nd Taiwan factories in Panchiao City, Taiwan in 1991 & its 1st production facility in ZhaoQing City, Mainland China in 1995. This action enabled the workforce at Tai-Hao's Taipei headquarter/factory to focus on product development and sales/marketing promotion, strengthening its ability to provide the best service to its clients. During this period, Tai-Hao has been capable of developing a series of computer keyboards like Mechanical Keyboard/I-Mac Keyboard/Membrane Keyboard/Multimedia Keyboard/3D Ergonomics Keyboard/Slim Line Notebook Keyboard/IR&RF Combo Kits/Keypad…to meet clients satisfaction and further enhance Tai-Hao's reputation in the industry and among end-users.

Tai-Hao established its US branch office in 1990 with the target of further expansion in the global market with annual revenue above 8 million US dollars in 1995. At this moment, Tai-Hao has played a leading role in Computer Keyboard industry, with strategic ODM/OEM relationships with many of world's best-known brand clients.

In 2000, a revolutionary year, Tai-Hao has involved in the development of E-Commerce products such as the PC/SC compliance Smart Card Reader/Keyboard, Fingerprint Reader/Keyboard & Multifuntion Kiosk with useful and powerful application softwares due to the population of internet and the thinking for the security of personal information. With technical cooperation and being a role of sole agent in Asia of fingerprint reader authorized by Precise Biometrics in Sweden , Tai-Hao has promoted the product successfully to the Taipei County Government, Department of Defence, Taiwan Major Banks & Universities and signed exclusive contract with other Asian countries like Malaysia.. etc. In the meantime, Tai-Hao increased its capital to approximately 1.5 million US dollars in 2000.

From 2001, Tai-Hao has started to develop optical mouse due to the ODM request from its European client. Now it has extended its mouse product line to 3D scrolling mouse/RF cordless mouse/2.4ghz cordless mouse/Bluetooth mouse…

In 2002, Tai-Hao has continued to develop MP3/USB flash drive due to the prevailing of portable multimedia player & market trend. From now, Tai-Hao has stepped over to the field of consumer products and acquired amazing feedback from old clients and has attracted the attention from the new clients in new markets. In the meantime, Tai-Hao has established it's 2nd factory in Bao'An City/Shenzhen, Mainland China with more than 800 employees and has produced more than 400 thousand keyboards & 100 thousand Mouse a month, with annual revenue of more than 20 million US dollars.

In 2003, Tai-Hao has extended its product line to Bluetooth headset /keyboard/mouse/USB dongle area for the sake of the heavy market demand regarding Mobile Phone accessories and the maturity of Bluetooth chipset. Tai-Hao has manufactured the MP3/USB flash drive/Bluetooth products in Taiwan's factory to control the product quality & reliability so far.

In 2005, Tai-Hao is planning to develop scissor type Notebook keyboard, variety shape of Bluetooth headset/Bluetooth mouse/dongle/2.4ghz mouse, high value-added MP3…, hope to receive widespread continuing encouragement from all clients.

PCB Processing With our 2 insertion lines & solder lines, we assure you that our PCB production line can enhance efficient and smooth production handling.
Assembling We have 6 assembling lines with Japanese-style management to examine our product's reliability. With 4 strict function test from the assembling to packing procedure, you can count on our perfect quality.
Injection We have 22 fully computerized plastic shaping injection machines to enable us to produce an extensive range of plastic accessories & big plastic housings.
Coating Adding the charming coating on the product is not only to upgrade the product value, but also to increase a unique product. With our latest facilities and experienced technicians, plus strictly QA/QC control management, we can be sure that our coating processes will meet today's colorful, fashionable product requirements.
Language Laser-Printing on Keycaps To provide multiple language layout from different countries' demands, the automatic laser printing machines enable us to provide various keyboard languages. We offer almost all language keyboards around the world.
Tooling in House Tai-Hao set up the molding team in house with many of the most advanced tooling facilities - CNC/PCB machines, Turret Milling machines, Electric Discharge machines, and Grinding machines - to ensure our product shapes are always up to date.
